We are
looking for a candidate with background from the pipelay industry to join our
global Lifting & Handling sales team. The candidate will be a key person in
development of our position in the market for pipelay equipment and systems.The
position will manage, develop, and maintain business relationships with
existing and potential clients to meet sales objectives. It will also take an
active part in developing and implementing strategies to grow the
organization's business while maximizing profits and market share that will
create the highest customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Acts as
primary point-of-contact for client.
Leads day-to-day management and optimization of client campaigns.
Maintains contact with an established customer base.
Identifies and establishes new clients.
Communicates and strategizes with sales team on all related client issues
for both internal & external sales.
Assists in strategy development.
Proactively finds new ways to build the client's business and grow
accounts.
Improves customer perception with emphasis on customer service.
Assemble criteria required for the development of technical specifications to
meet individual customer requirements.
Develop offers and presentations for customer requirements.
Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business or engineering is
preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
A proven track record in sales management and business development with ability
to convert opportunities into profitable orders.Basic knowledge of pipelay- and cablelay- equipment, cranes
and offshore construction equipment.
Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with contracts, warrantees, terms and conditions. Working Conditions: Office, manufacturing and field site environments. Extensive Travel.Minimal Supervision.The candidate location is flexible.
