Our client, a major Oil and Gas Operator have an opportunity for a Mechanical/Rotating engineer to work on a KAOMBO project, on a long term contract based in Pau, France. ResponsibilitiesTo adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE, respect the Project HSSE requirements and ensure application of HSSE rules within his area of responsibility.To anticipate all safety issues that could happen in Operations due to Mechanical & Rotating equipment substandard or wrongly arranged.To participate in the management of FOSC contract. To participate in the review of the Maintenance and Inspection philosophy with regard to Mechanical & Rotating equipment, organization and procedures. To participate, as requested, in the review of queries / derogation requests. To participate, as required, to coordination meetings with Contractor. To provide inputs/advises, as necessary, for the design of FPSO's with regards to Mechanical & Rotating equipment operability and maintainability. To participate in the review, preparation and implementation of all the maintenance and inspection means (procedures, contracts, resources...), for the start-up and the operational phases.
