To support the development and operation of these substantial assets, we are seeking talented staff to join our Operations team. The role of Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for the develop heath care, maintenance and inspection strategies for onshore rotating equipment systems and identify deliverables required to assure these activities. Provide guidance to the operations and project team on rotating equipment issues. Act as the technical focal point for onshore RE equipment and auxiliaries. Key responsibilities include: Provide day-to-day and long term RE discipline technical support to onshore and obtain additional functional specialist support where required
Ensure RE maintenance activities are executed efficiently and with suitably skilled and competent resource
Ensure RE activity is given appropriate visibility and priority within the work management system planning cycle
Exploit best available technology and investigate and make recommendations for the implementation of new technologies to improve predictive maintenance capability
Work with the Maintenance Execution Team in the development of annual budgets and play a key role in the management and control of costs.
Proactively manage the integrity of rotating equipment and ensure maintenance and inspection is carried out in support of safe and reliable operation.
Manage the onshore RE long term service agreement ensuring compliance with the contract KPIs in delivering the required availability.
Key qualifications, skills and experience required: Degree qualified preferably chartered engineer. Non degree personnel will be considered where experience is significant and competency within the field can be demonstrated at depth
Significant experience in rotating equipment and auxiliary systems within the Oil & Gas offshore and onshore environment
Extensive experience working on large rotating equipment and supporting systems including;
Gas Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbines, Reciprocating Compressors, Compressor seal systems, Diesel Engines, Fire Pumps and Condition and Performing Monitoring Systems
Spares optimisation strategies-Ability to formulate maintenance strategies for rotating equipment in a project and operations environment
Extensive knowledge of CMMS systems and integrity assurance
