Our client is one of the world's largest providers of professional technical services to the oil and gas industry. Through continued project wins and expansion it is looking to recruit experienced Rotating Equipment Engineers at varying levels of experience. Looking for Rotating Equipment Engineers particularly strong on Compressors.Primary Job Responsibilities:- Rotating Equipment Engineer within the Mechanical Department and a project task force. Responsible for independently applying advanced engineering techniques and analysis within the discipline. Must have experience specifically related to different types of rotating equipment, and skid mounted packaged systems common to the process industries. Representative equipment experience to include pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, turbines, engines, electric motors, vacuum pumps, agitators, mixers, lube oil skids, and compressed air/refrigeration/chemical injection packages. Will be required to review client specifications, prepare customized equipment specifications, prepare equipment inquiry/purchase requisitions & technical bid evaluations, review vendor drawings & data, and interface with other disciplines on a project task force. Extensive knowledge of API, ASME, ANSI, PIP and other process industry codes and standards is necessary. Will have extensive client and vendor interface, so communication skills must be excellent. Must be able to produce accurate project deliverables with little or no supervision, and maintain project schedules and manhour budgets. Strong leadership and organizational skills are required. Must be a team player.Training and Experience Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering10-15 years experience specifically related to different types of rotating equipment and skid mounted packaged systems. Professional Engineer registration desirable.Please note candidates MUST be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship.
