Maintenance Engineer - Rotating Equipment Position Description: Saudi Aramco are looking to hire a Maintenance Engineer with a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Eng) who posesses practical hands on experience in the field of Rotating Equipment and is prepared to travel throughout area of operations and frequently commute to job locations in areas other than residence.responsibilities are to include :- 1. Ensure the business processes and work activities, relevant to assignments, are executed in compliance with SA policy, procedures and best practice to achieve the business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.2. Assists the line Maintenance organizations in the implementation of approved programs by furnishing information, authoritative interpretation, operating pilot runs, conducting training sessions and analyzing accountability and progress reports.3. Provide full technical support to all types of rotating equipment (compressors, steam turbines, pumps, blowers, finfans, motors, etc)4. Conduct field troubleshooting and investigation for all rotating equipment failures to come up with permanent solution., be as liaisonsbetween the field and central engineering to overcome complicated problems.5. Implement Fault analysis process to solve daily rotating equipment problems.6. Conduct field performance test for rotating equipment, measure system curves and identify BEP7. Provides general guidance and work direction for maintenance8. Monitor rotating equipment performance9. Participate in reviewing rotating equipment design packages against Saudi Aramco and International standard.10. Participate in project pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up. Duties And Responsibilities: A. Develops maintenance programs such as the Maintenance Management Program, Preventive Maintenance, organization, worker level job structure, manpower utilization and construction equipment requirements and utilization. Appraises and prepares reports on the effectiveness of such programs.B. Assists the line Maintenance organizations in the implementation of approved programs by furnishing information, authoritative interpretation, operating pilot runs, conducting training sessions and analyzing accountability and progress reports.C. Leads a team which is responsible for field-wide planning, scheduling and under the direction of concerned Maintenance Superintendents, the execution of all major T&Is.D. May relieve any of the Superintendent level positions in the Maintenance Department. Mechanical Services Shop Scheduling & Coordination Unit when the Maintenance Engineer I is assigned within a Unit, his major role shifts from being a team leader to being the Division expert on scheduling, planning and coordination. The Supervisor will rely on the incumbent to develop maintenance programs for preventivemaintenance, scheduling of equipment and manpower, requirements for new equipment and review technical aspects of budgets and accountability. May receive work assignments from the Supervisor, but is expected to proceed on his own initiative to solve Divisionproblems as a member of the Superintendent's direct staff. Application of Maintenance Engineer I when specializing in Digital Maintenance EngineeringA. Develops and coordinates the execution of digital maintenance programs as directed by his immediate supervisor. Usual supervisory duties include directing Maint. Digital Systems Engineers III and II with some direction given to Digital Technicians. B. Analyzes operational control environment and makes determinations as to suitability of particular types of hardware for particularapplications.C. Using an overview of digital systems resident within a maintenance area of responsibility, develops complete digital systems maintenanceprograms to insure effective use of available manpower and test equipment.D. Develops specialized indices to aid in evaluating the maintenance being performed on digital hardware.E. Advises line operations and maintenance supervisors on matters related to digital systems.F. Serves as a technical consultant to subordinate Maint. Digital System Engineers on complex systems/circuit diagram and maintenance/repair problems. Minimum Requirements: The minimum requirement s for this role are as follows:- A. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.B. Minimum of 10 years of job related experience. A thorough knowledge of maintenance policies, procedures, cost and budget systems, and problems throughout SAO.C.
