JOB PURPOSE: Plan and execute the condition monitoring / analysis and troubleshooting activities for rotating equipment throughout for the assigned area. Develop, plan and the assist in the execution of the condition monitoring systems used in the plant that are needed to execute the condition monitoring program (offline and online systems). Assist the maintenance strategies reviews and root cause analysis of rotating equipment failures.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Monitor implementation and revise plant rotating equipment condition monitoring program to ensure and enhance the integrity and reliability of rotating equipment.2. Plan and execute analysis and troubleshooting activities to maintain and enhance rotating equipment integrity and reliability.3. Assist in Bad Actors Review (rotating equipment) along with the Defect Elimination Department. Analyse the problems/issues and provide recommendations to ensure and enhance asset reliability.4. Provide technical advice for operations and maintenance on condition of machines and agree repair methods with the rotating equipment engineers from engineering technical support department to ensure and enhance rotating equipment integrity and reliability.5. Provide shutdown / turnaround resources for the condition monitoring of rotating equipment to ensure and enhance availability and integrity of plant and equipment. This includes trim balancing and equipment start-ups.6. Provide resources for the rotating equipment performance and mechanical reviews of existing installation when required and/or new asset during FAT and SAT. However, the approval authority remains with the Rotating equipment engineers in the Engineering Technical Services Department.7. Ensure the business processes and work activities, relevant to position, are executed in compliance with REFINERY policy, procedures and best practice to achieve the business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner8.
