D2M Group is a French Engineering Company, specialized in Oil & Gas Technical Assistance.We provide our expertise for Major Projects all over the world since more than 25 years.For a major Oil & Gaz Operator, we are looking for a Rotating equipment Supervisor based in Algeria, on rotation 4 weeks on x 4 weeks off.
You will be in charge of: • To be in charge of activities related to Rotating equipment (Compressor, Gas Turbine, Pumps) construction works of a gas Central Processing Plant in South Algeria• To comply with Project HSE rules, and participate actively in Safety Site implementation, and Best work practices• To participate in Daily Safety tool box talk in the field• To ensure work is prepared according to Project specifications and Procedures toward Safe and Quality execution• To ensure the quality of the Rotating Equipment preservation, installation, erection, assembly, connection and pre-commissioning works performed on site by the EPCC contractor and his subcontractors comply with contract requirements.• To ensure that engineering data and materials are available on time on site, with specific care and monitor to Vendor packing list and storage / handling / Preservation recommendations• To check the preparation, issue and implementation by contractor of construction means, including documents, detailed procedures, method statements, drawings, calculation notes, construction equipment, personnel, planning, as-built documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, and back-up procedures if necessary.• To supervise the work performed by the contractor; to check its progress as per schedule and budget; and to achieve completion dates as per contract.• To check that the work is performed in compliance with the contract specifications, and informs the CPF Construction Manager in the event of non-compliance and variances, or in the event of any deviation requested by the contractor.• To ensure that, for his discipline and area, the quality assurance record books are properly documented and maintained by the contractor.• To assess any deviations from quality control procedures or requirements requested by the contractor, and make appropriate recommendation to the CPF Construction Manager.• To ensure efficient inter-discipline release: foundations to Equipment, then Equipment release to Piping / Hydro; coordination with Electrical and Instrumentation• To Interface and coordinate as necessary with other disciplines.• Competent to fulfill “ownership” of the rotating equipment• To supervise Millwright works, refer to Vendor spec, Check achievement of pipe strain and Alignment Works• To provide guidance to piping department for piping installation / piing supports / Anchor / Spring setting in the vicinity of the rotating equipment• To support CM in equipment packages review / preparation for installation• To have knowledge and experience in lifting / rigging• To establish detail punch list / remaining work list to provide guidance to mechanical completion• To be pre-commissioning oriented, erect to start up.
