Are you a Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer with strong skills in Rotating Equipment? This role is for someone who has more than 7 years experience in process plants and more than 3 years experience in a supervisory role. This position is direct hire and based out of Lake Charles. The Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer shall be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing the maintenance plans for rotating equipment including; turbo machinery, pumps, motors, blowers, fan assembly and reciprocating machines - in accordance with company policies and procedures. This includes implementation of the preventive maintenance programs for the operating plants as well as planning of routine maintenance activities, plant outages and turnarounds. In the event of a planned turnaround the Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer will take the lead and drive the shutdowns and turnarounds. This hire is a strategic position that is aimed at putting together processes and plans so that when the plant is built it will be easier for you to maintain since you will have been there from the start and taken part in designing the operational program. You will spend the first 2 years working on simulators and analyzing trends that will allow you to predict and identify critical plant works over the years to come. You will also be preparing preventative maintenance reports and manuals and provide in-depth troubleshooting advice to the plant teams.
