Brief Posting Description Due to a recent contract win, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer Rotating Equipment on a contract basis located at our office in Houston. Detailed Description The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for providing input on equipment failure degradation mechanisms and modes, and defining routine, predictive and preventive maintenance tasks for sustaining equipment performance. The Engineer will be responsible for supporting implementation of the maintenance plans. The roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to: 1. Data Remediation Single Point Accountable of Static Data in the Maintenance Management System for assigned Equipment Classes Remediates all the gaps identified on data assessment on static data to respective equipment classes based on Work management standards. Understand client work management standards and further support and assist peers on WM data standards and CMMS uploading template 2. Equipment Criticality Understands client procedure for equipment criticality & priority and do all the pre-working for all stakeholder (Engineering, offshore, Marine teams) on revising Equipment criticality based on new procedure. Able to clearly distinguish among Safety Critical Equipment, Equipment priority for maintenance. 3. Maintenance Strategy Responsible for developing Equipment R & M Strategies for assigned equipment and develop quality Job Plans with job task, material , man-hours content and ensure that PM frequency are aligned. Recommends implementation and sustain maintenance strategies for assigned Equipment Classes. Reviews job plans and PM data keep in view equipment history and Work order data and recommend changes to job plans and equipment strategies. Ensures that Job Plan and PM edits and rework are executed in Maximo promptly. Incorporates lessons learnt from day to day jobs to PM, job plans, spares, Contracts etc. Reviews Work Plans and Job Plans to ensure that Job Plans are fully loaded with Tasks, Labour, Durations, Materials, and Procedures. 4. Spares Strategy Support and assist spare specialists on developing Bill of Materials for assigned Equipment classes. Recommends proper Min/ Max level of inventory. Reviews SPILs for respective equipment classes and ensures that all relevant inventory is attached to respective equipment in Maximo.
Job Requirements Qualifications, Experience, & Skills: Minimum Qualifications: BSc, <web address removed>, HNC, HND or equivalent with industrial experience in applicable maintenance discipline Or NVQ or equivalent trade based qualification with hands on industrial experience in applicable maintenance discipline. Minimum Experience: Demonstrable balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position.
