We are recruiting the industry's best to assist in developing the Ichthys Gas Field and this is your opportunity to play a major role in subsequent phases of construction, commissioning and ongoing operations. To support the development and operation of these substantial assets, we are seeking talented staff to join our Operations team. The Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer is the Operations Rotating Equipment technical authority (TA2) providing governance, advice and support . You will also work closely with the Operations and Production Teams to ensure plant integrity, reliability and efficiency to support achievement of production goals. Key responsibilities include:Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures
Provide day-to-day and long term Rotating Equipment discipline technical support to offshore and obtain additional functional specialist support where required
Ensure Rotating Equipment maintenance activities are executed efficiently and with suitably skilled and competent resource
Ensure the reliability of Rotating Equipment will meet annual delivery plan commitments
Work with the Maintenance Execution Team in the development of annual budgets and play a key role in the management and control of costs.
Proactively manage the integrity of rotating equipment and ensure maintenance and inspection is carried out in support of safe and reliable operation.
Ensure that the plant technical integrity is protected by managing rotating equipment in line with the commitments made as part of the safety case performance standards and design assumptions
Supervise a Rotating Equipment Inspector and Rotating Equipment Support EngineerKey Qualifications, skills and experience required:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant Engineering Discipline
Significant experience in rotating equipment and auxiliary systems within the hydrocarbon offshore and onshore environment
Extensive experience working on large rotating equipment and supporting systems including Gas Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Compressor seal systems, Diesel Engines, Fire Pumps and Condition and Performing Monitoring Systems
Extensive knowledge of CMMS systems and integrity assurance
