The Company:Our client, a chemical company, would like to add a Rotating Equipment Supervisor to their team.The Role:This position is located in Corpus Christi, TX.
The Rotating Equipment Supervisor is to serve as the technical expert for all matters pertaining to Rotating Equipment within the Refinery/Petrochemical Plant, and to provide support to Operations and Maintenance in order to improve the reliability and performance of Rotating Equipment assets. This will require the application of relevant technologies, industry best practices, as well as other innovative / creative solutions. The Rotating Equipment Supervisor's responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Responsible for monitoring the all aspects of Pump and machinery activities
-Monitor all aspects of Rotating equipment work to meet the specifications, meet with P&IDs, and engineering ISOs.
-Interface with site based Operations and Maintenance to continuously improve the overall effectiveness of the Rotating Equipment in the areas of Life Cycle Cost, Reliability and Production Impact.
-Review equipment reliability data (e.g. vibration spectrum data, oil analysis, and engine / compressor PVT analysis).
-Review and provide input into monitoring strategies for Rotating Equipment.
-Serve in a leadership role in root cause failure analysis of Rotating Equipment.
-Training and development of young engineers in the Facilities and Operations departments.
