My client is a leading commercial construction company with an international presence. Due to continued steady growth and international expansion we are currently looking for an Assistant Equipment Manager with extensive Crane experience. The opportunity will be reporting directly to the world wide equipment manager and will have fantastic vertical career growth potential. This position will provide the mentorship and training to develop the successful individual into a high caliber worldwide equipment director. The role will be based out of the International corporate HQ and will involve international travel as a senior technical specialist when required to new project sites. Duties- Track records, licenses, inspections, warranties, and service agreementsOverall responsibility for the monitoring and tracking of equipment inventorySchedule and prioritize equipment repairs and maintenanceAssist with equipment budgetsParticipate in the management and forecasting of equipment costsParticipate in the equipment evaluation process, and the acquisition and disposal of equipmentParticipate in logistics of moving equipment to and from sites.Participate in acquiring Rental Equipment Develop and maintain files on all equipment for historical dataTrack records, licenses, inspections, warranties, and service agreementsAssist with the oversight of maintenance mechanics, establish productivity goals and track progress of workAssist with the oversight of maintenance and repair of equipment, both in the shop and at the project sitesResponsibility for the management of inbound and outbound inspection processesMaximize utilization of equipmentManage preventative maintenance program and annual inspectionsAct as technical advisor on all equipment issues, assisting on-site personnel in diagnosing malfunctionsParticipate in the equipment evaluation process, and the acquisition and disposal of equipmentParticipate in logistics of moving equipment to and from sites.Participate in acquiring Rental Equipment Qualifications- Extensive experience operating, maintaining and repairing construction equipment and specifically Cranes6-12 years’ experience requiredAnalytical with Strong Excel skills and computer literacyExperience conducting training sessions
