Job Title: Rotating Equipment Engineer
Location: Rabigh, Saudi Arabia
Our client - A leading Oil and Gas Operator, is currently looking for a ‘Rotating Equipment Engineer’ to join their Technical Support Department in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia.
You will help the department to Initiate/conduct special studies for improving refinery and petrochemical facilities or operations, and provide specialized technical / consulting service in engineering fields, in accordance with procedures and in compliance with quality standards, to optimize operations.
The role will be working with the client on a Direct Hire/Permanent basis, and you will be over in Saudi Arabia on Residential Status. This means you will be relocating to Saudi Arabia, and will be able to relocate with family if you wish, as the client offers excellent Single or Family status benefits packages, on top of a highly competitive Tax Free Salary.
Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate, and as a minimum, you will have:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable university (No Equivalent Qualifications will be taken into consideration)
At least 10 years of plant operating experience with rotating equipment in the Refining and Petrochemical Industry, specifically Polymer plants
Demonstrated diverse experience / skills including:
Strong troubleshooting experience
Design experience
Strong experience in conducting RCA for rotating equipment failures
Expertise in reliability programs, RCM/PM, condition monitoring and engineering.
Commissioning experience with EPC contractors is a plus
Specific Knowledge & Business Understanding
Knowledge of international standards and codes for rotating equipment engineering such as:
API 610
API 611
API 612
API 682
API 614
API 617
API 618
API 670
Knowledge of unit processes and operation of plants
RCM and RCA Certification
Competencies
Excellent verbal and written Communication skills in English is a must
Conceptualization skills
Leadership skills
Schedule control skills
Computer skills
Programming skills
