The Role:Over the next 6 years there will be over 200 wells drilled, and significant facilities installed to support this drilling program. The facilities scopes comprise of 5 major engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPIC) packages, including a new processing platform, 6 new wellhead platforms, a new accommodations platform, over 50 km of subsea pipelines, and upgrades to onshore separation facilities. The location of this position is pending bid evaluation of EPIC contracts.
An experienced and motivated individual is required to fill the position of Lead Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Engineer to support these EPIC packages. The packages will be completed by various contractors, and the Lead Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Engineer will have responsibilities across the scopes to ensure seamless integration of the systems. The new equipment will tie in to the existing systems, and this will also require coordination with the facilities team in Doha.
