AMEC will be providing Engineering Services for Production Operations, including the MV21 Kwame Nkrumah FPSO and any future facilities within the Jubilee Field Unit and possibly including those planned as part of the TEN Development, for an initial term of five (5) years, as may be extended. “Engineering Services‟ will involve a high level of Brownfield detailed engineering design and procurement and expediting work, vendor surveillance and management, supervision for fabrication construction support requirements, together with the strict revision control of engineering records; and the direct supply of contracts, labour and materials for modifications.The work involves conceptual and detail design for offshore Brownfield projects in a developing organisation. Minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of Mechanical engineering (Rotating, Static and Packages equipment) with experience in Gas Turbine Generator and preferably GE-LM2005+G4 experience.To support the Delivery Manager, and to work with the Mechanical Team in delivering the Mechanical Engineering Design Take ownership of estimating, execution and reporting of discipline engineering activities within budget and schedule.Responsible for maintaining technical integrity and complying with the HS&E Values of the companyTo lead the discipline team, providing supervision of discipline engineers and designers Specify and requisition equipment through to delivery, installation and commissioning, as required by the contract.Acts as technical focal point for specific topics.To have proven good working experience and knowledge of a specialist engineering area i.e. rotating machinery, particularly electrically driven centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, packaged equipment, fabricated equipment, materials handling for hydrocarbons, water and chemicals and pressure vessels associated with the offshore oil and gas, refining and process industriesExecute engineering activities with respect to Concept, Front end Engineering Development, Technical Study, Detailed Design and PEER reviewsSpecify and requisition equipment and packages through to delivery, installation and handoverActively work and co-ordinate with our customer, internal departments and vendorsTo actively take part in and support the career development of the teams graduate and other technical design personnelResponsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personnel and team performanceEnsure working practices of discipline comply with relevant company and contract procedures.Take ownership and carry out work in accordance with AMEC and project health, safety and Environmental and Quality systemsResponsible for maintaining the required technical quality of work on behalf of the discipline.To prepare man-hour and cost estimates for studies, design, fabrication and installation.Within areas of expertise be fully conversant with codes of practice, standards and statutory regulations and ensure that designs comply.Competent in planning, progress reporting, forecasting and reporting for the discipline scopesEnsure as far as practically possible that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and scheduleWith us, you’ll be challenged.
